The bulldozer is being used to assist Bob negotiate a steep upgrade leaving Arroyo Agua Caliente. In this shot, Bob has the Blazer under tow - one of the very few times during the extracation that this occured.
Note the water in the arroyo. Shotly after this shot was taked, the radiator of Bob's truck broke free of it's mounting (baling wire) and fell into the fan blade. The fan cut a mortal wound in the radiator and we were finished for the day pending installation of a repaired radiator.
